Routing mails to the correct backend mailstore
The frontend nodes can be configured as SMTP relays with the job of moving mails from one place to another.
Ideally these nodes should be easy to recreate and should provide redundancy.
The mails accepted by these hosts is looked up for mailRoutingAddress (address of the internal mailstore) and optionaly mailForwardingAddress (to forward to other addresses configured by the user).
Example:
mail for aghaffar@ispman.org
user: aghaffar
mailLocalAddress: aghaffar@ispman.org
mailRoutingAddress: aghaffar@server10.ispman.org
mailForwardingAddress: aghaffar@developer.ch
mailForwardingAddress: atif@atifghaffar.com
In this case the mail is sent to aghaffar@server10.ispman.org (the internal mailstore) and to aghaffar@developer.ch and atif@atifghaffar.com configured by the user.
